Newborn Colton | Sneak Peek
Vera | 14 Months
One of my dearest friend's daughter, Vera, is 14 months old! Vera is such a sweet spirit. She loves books, her toy pig and apple sauce. Love the sweet, sweet look on her face and her sapphire blue eyes!
Fix-It Friday #153 | Hands-On Photo Editing Fun!
I love participating in the I Heart Faces Fix it Friday - Hand on Photo Editting posts. Below is a before and after of the photo that they provided. This touching photo is provided by Maryanne Gobble Photography.
Below is the editing process I used for this photo.

BEFORE
For this photo, I felt that it needed a bit of an edge to it, so I added in a texture using Florabella's Texture action. I then made my own adjustments, adding in a cross process and some other coloring to the photo. I lightened up the necklace hanging from her back, because I wanted the heart to be the center of focus for the image.
I then converted to a B/W using just the BW filter in PS CS6 and adjusting to the "darken" option with a few adjustments to some of the sliders. I also used the curves adjustment to brighten up some of the shadows and bringing down some of the whites.

I Heart Faces Fix it Friday #151

I love FLORABELLA actions along with Oh So Posh actions. I use these two sets of actions for about 90% of my work.
For this photo, the editing process was very simple. There wasn't a lot to do with skin or eyes, so I started with Florabella's "Clean Color" action. I then added a bit of pop to the little girl's eye and lightened it. Just a small touch up on the skin to remove some discolorations. I then applied Florabella's Sweet Tea action, made a new layer to top, then added in the sun-flare and some warmth.
This photo is such a majestic moment between a granddaughter and grandfather and I felt that the vintage look suited it well along with the magical sun-flare.

Tollicks - Sneak Peek II
I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to call this beautiful family a part of my own. As I edit these photos, I am continuously amazed at the beauty behind each and every one of these girls. Still working on the rest, but at least we now have a head shot for each girl. XOXO!
